Best & Fairest 2026

On September 20 we all gathered to celebrate the year and acknowledge exceptional performances. Congratulations to all of our winners.

Congrats to Lani for also winning the league B&F.

Life Member Induction

Kevin Walker was provided Life Membership for his long and outstanding contribution to the Mudlarks. In addition to playing over 100 games he has served on the committee for over 15 years and is currently the Team Manager for the 35s. Well done Kev.

Mudlark of the year

Every year we chose someone who epitomizes the Mudlark spirit and this year Peita Price was our winner. Peita was a key driving force for the introduction of our first women’s team in 2025 and is the current coach. This team won their first grand final this year. Peita is also on the committee and does whatever else is needed to make sure things run smoothly. This includes running training, helping our trainers and working on the BBQ and chippery. She beat a strong field of nominees, Max, Chelsea and Rich, well done to those 3.

Premiers 2026

Congratulations to our women’s 35 for winning the Div 2 Premiership. They went through the year undefeated and had a comfortable win over Northern Lions in the Grand Final. The result was a culmination of a year of early planning, hard work on the track and the ongoing building of a culture of fun and inclusion.

Tayla Harris at the Mudlarks

It was fantastic to have AFLW legend take training with our women’s team and then have a Q&A session. What a legend, both on and off the field. She was so generous with her time and insights and said it was so good coming back to a metro league.

Mens’s Grand Final Hosting - September 13

The Mudlark’s hosted 5 north west Grand Finals. It was a fantastic day where we had over 50 Mudlark volunteers running things including the canteen and BBQ .

WOMEN’s Semi Final Hosting - August 29

The Mudlark’s hosted 4 women’s semifinals, with our own team winning and progressing to the Grand Final on September 12.

2025 Best & Fairest

The event was held at our new rooms and celebrated what was a fantastic season.

Dom Perrone, Mick Campisi and Ray Nardella were awarded Life memberships for their long and tireless contribution to the club. They join our existing life members Ming, Jamie and Tiger
