a club where everyone belongs —

on and off the field

our history

The Brunswick Mudlarks FC was founded in 1994, with one of our Life Members, Peter Laming (Ming), pulling on the boots in our first year.

In 2025, Ming played his 250th AFL Masters match!

Having had various homes including Fleming Reserve and Gillon Oval, we arrived at McAlister Oval in Parkville in 2015.

In 2025 our 35s team won our clubs first ever premiership. We hosted the NW Men’s Semi-Finals and the Women’s Grand Final.

In 2026 we will have men’s 35s, 45s, 50s, 55s and 60s teams. For the women we will have a 35s contact and non contact team.

our leadership

Leadership is important to any successful organisation and we value where it’s shown in all aspects of the Club, both on and off the field.

The Committee extends their gratitude to our members for their unwavering support and dedication to the Brunswick Mudlarks Masters Football Club as we continue our journey of continuous improvement and growth. Together, we will strive to uphold our legacy of "football for fun" and ensure the long-term vitality of our beloved Club.  Your continued support and membership are integral to the continued success and vibrancy of the club.  We look forward to welcoming you for another fantastic year of football and camaraderie. our people

Our people may not be more incredible than people in other clubs, but maybe, just maybe, they are!

Whether it's helping out at training, cleaning the rooms, tossing snags, raising funds or serving on a committee, our people are gold and are the life blood of our rapidly growing club.

From the President of the muddies

This club is a very special place and I am privileged to currently hold the role of Mudlarks President.

What we have here will not suit everyone, but conversely the culture of the club ensures our community looks out for each other, even when we go through a whole season without winning a game.

2025 was an extraordinary year for our club in its 31st year - we launched our inaugural Mudlarks Women's team and our O35 Men's Reserves team, in only their 2nd year, won the club's 1st Premiership.

I returned to playing Masters footy when I was 46, after a 20 year break. Now, 12 years later, I've only just played my 50th match. Here's to me playing my 100th in less than 12 years time!

Anthony Peyton, President
