Whatever time of year, Brunswick Mudlarks will keep you fit.
And footy in summer is perfect.
The sun's out, you sweat more while moving less.
If you're over 35 in 2015 you're welcome to come for a run.
From November to the end of March, the club holds Monday and Wednesday training nights at Fleming Park, Albert St, East Brunswick.
(between Lygon and Nicholson Sts) Both sessions start at 6pm.
As we near the footy season, Brunswick returns to its home base of Ransford Oval, Park St, Parkville at the beginning of April.
Training will continue on Mondays and Wednesdays through to the completion of the football season. Look for more details in March.
Monday nights begins with Bruny 9's on Feb 2nd.
Bruny9s is a version of AFL9s and features full ground games - but with no tackling and some modified rules.
It's a no pressure, run-around where teams are picked from whoever turns up. This means players can range from 8-60 years of age. It's a great 90 minutes of running around with mates and testing some of your football skills.
Wednesday's have already begun for 2015 and are a more classical football training night. Plenty of touches of the footy are encouraged with drills to suit all fitness, skill and boredom levels.
Even if you aren't interested in playing during the winter,
we are happy to see men 35+ come down to keep themselves fit and have fun.
